Best Practice aims for top spot

Best Practice Software has appointed Craig Hodges to the new position of general manager, charging him with a mission to become the leading medical software vendor by 2014.

Best Practice says it has captured more than 30 per cent of the general practice market since it was established eight years ago.

The company's founders, Lorraine and Frank Pyefinch, said he will take a leadership role in the organisation, which is headquartered in their home town of Bundaberg.

“Craig has a very strong background in finance with broad experience across public and private sectors,” Mrs Pyefinch said.

“He has previously worked in senior executive leadership roles in a number of industries, including local government, media, telecommunications and tourism, and brings a wealth of experience in strategic management, governance, HR and marketing.”

Mr Hodges said he was relishing “the chance to work with such experienced pioneers and innovators in medical software development.

“Frank and Lorraine have charged me with the goal to make Best Practice the leading Australian medical software by 2014, and I’m wholeheartedly committed to making that happen.”
