WA Health eyes year-end to begin uploading pathology reports to MyHR

WA Health is planning to begin uploading publicly ordered pathology and diagnostic imaging reports to the My Health Record in December, using the HIPS technology developed by Adelaide firm Chamonix.

WA Health, which is currently implementing its new new statewide laboratory information system from US-based SCC Soft Computer, has been using HIPS to upload discharge summaries to the national system since 2014.

So Kate, do you "reckon" that the 20 million more records will inundate DHS while seeing discharge summaries and pathology results in their MyHR. Nice to see your own opinions absent this time.

I reckon a lot of errors will show up when MBS and PBS data is added to 20 million new records when they are created and people take a look at them, and then ring DHS to get them fixed. I have no reason to doubt that actual clinical data will be wrong, but MBS and PBS data is not clinical.

My own opinions are always absent from my news stories.
