Pulse+IT launches aged, community and disability care technology edition

Pulse+IT has today launched a new aged, community and disability care edition of its popular eNewsletters, featuring a weekly round-up of the latest health IT and digital health news for the sector in Australia and New Zealand.

Predominantly targeting the residential and in-home aged care sectors, it will also cover the use of information technology in community care, including mental health, and disability care.

We’ll provide up-to-the minute coverage of the Department of Health and Aged Care’s evolving policy on IT in light of the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, along with news about aged care-specific developments from the Australian Digital Health Agency, the Aged Care IT Industry Council and research organisations including the Digital Health CRC, the Australian eHealth Research Centre and the universities.

We’ll also cover all of the latest technology developments from digital health vendors in the areas of care and resident management software, electronic medication management systems, telehealth, clinical and resident communications apps, assistive technologies, mobile health wearables and smart home technologies.

We’ll also cover moves towards making these technologies interoperable with GP, pharmacy, hospital and government systems, and look at interesting implementations of these technologies in the real world by care providers.

The newsletter will be emailed initially every Monday morning to all 19,000+ subscribers to Pulse+IT’s free newsletters. If you don’t wish to receive this new edition, you can update your subscription preferences at the bottom of each email.

We are keen to hear about the latest developments from the sector, so if you have a news tip or story idea, drop us a line here.

We also have a limited number of advertising opportunities available in this new edition, so if your organisation is interested in advertising with us, please get in touch. The Pulse+IT Media Kit is available for download here.
