Pulse+IT launches aged care IT news service

Pulse+IT is today launching a new aged care IT news service, bringing you a weekly round-up of developments from this part of the health sector.

As iCare managing director Chris Gray says in our lead story, residential aged care is a vast consumer of information from community care nurses, hospitals and general practice, but the big challenge is to ensure that information gets to the right place at the right time.

Still predominantly paper-based apart from resident management software, an increased use of electronic prescribing and secure messaging will have enormous benefits to nursing staff and to the residents themselves.

Pulse+IT believes our reporting on the aged care sector will be of great interest to our existing and rapidly growing eNewsletter subscriber base, who will now receive this free newsletter every Wednesday. However, subscribers can elect to opt out of one or more of our newsletters (now sent Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) by clicking on the 'Update your subscription preferences' at the bottom of any Pulse+IT eNewsletter.

If you are not currently subscribed to Pulse+IT's free eNewsletter service, you can sign up here.
