Quick access through accreditation app

The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency has released a free app to give aged care facilities access to the guidelines that assessors use to check the performance of aged care homes against the accreditation standards.

The app, available for iPhones, iPads and Android smartphones, contains the same results and processes guide used by assessors.

It provides key word search functionality and an easy way to navigate the standards, with a full wording of each standard included.

All of the 44 expected outcomes, including their descriptions, focus, results, processes and any links to each related expected outcome, are included on the app.

It also includes an introduction to the results and processes guide, along with phone and email contacts for the agency's offices.

The app is called 'Results and processes guide' and is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
