Medtech32 fully PCEHR-compliant

Clinical software vendor Medtech Global has passed its testing for Medtech32's interface with the PCEHR system and has been listed on NEHTA's ePIP register as PCEHR-compliant.

Medtech32 has been able to integrate the Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service since last year, and its most recent version, v9.0.0, has electronic transfer of prescriptions (ETP) capability using both eRx Script Exchange and MediSecure.

Medtech Global's sales executive, Caroline Parker, said the software would also comply with the ePIP requirements for secure messaging when used in conjunction with the HealthLink or Argus secure messaging services.

She said version 9.1.0, due to be released next week, would contain all necessary NEHTA requirements to interface with the PCEHR, allowing general practice users to qualify for the ePIP payments.
