Genie releases Mavericks, Windows 8.1 versions

Clinical and practice management software vendor Genie Solutions has released v8.6.1 of its software, which is certified for use with Windows 8.1 and Apple's new OSX 10.9, better known as Mavericks.

Genie previous version features native integration for Macs with eRx Script Exchange. Practices using eRx can also upload this information to a patient's PCEHR using the National Prescription and Dispense Repository (NPDR) system.

Genie Solutions' CEO Paul Carr said the company was also working on improvements to its recently released web app, which allows doctors to access their database using any smart device or smartphone.
