Final call for papers for Big Data 2015

Submissions of scientific papers and clinical case studies for the Big Data in Biomedicine and Healthcare Conference (Big Data 2015), being held in Sydney in October, close next Friday.

The theme for Big Data 2015, organised by the Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA), is 'Big data analytics: Leveraging capability in healthcare', and will have a focus on personalised healthcare.

Specialty areas include patient analytics and clinical decision making, health service management, population health, convergence medicine, and data governance and ownership.

HISA's program co-chairs – Paul Cooper of SMS Management and Technology and Karin Verspoor of the University of Melbourne – said they welcome work that addresses a broad range of biomedical data from genomics to images to clinical.
