Hills partners with Foxtel for patient entertainment
Hills Health Solutions is working with Foxtel to roll out the subscription TV service to a number of hospitals using Hills' patient entertainment systems.
Hills markets the Lincor range of patient infotainment systems, which includes clinical, administrative and entertainment systems in one platform, and also owns the HTR and Hostel ranges.
Hills' head of product management and innovation, Helen Tsaganos, said providing quality entertainment in hospitals and aged care facilities can help provide better patient outcomes.
“Hills and Foxtel are looking for ways to bring their services together to provide Hills health customers access to high quality entertainment programs for their patients, which improves customer satisfaction during hospital stays as well as health outcomes overall,” Ms Tsaganos said.
Foxtel’s head of business sales, Raelene Smethurst, said Foxtel would integrate its sport, movies and general entertainment content with Hills' solutions.
“We believe providing better entertainment options will assist patients with experiencing a more enjoyable recovery and means hospital staff can focus on providing quality healthcare,” Ms Smethurst said.
Hills and Foxtel are currently developing a plan to roll out Foxtel to a number of Hills Health Solutions hospitals nationally.
