HISA calls for board nominees, reveals state office holders

The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) has called for nominees to fill four vacancies on its board as it readies for the annual Health Informatics Conference (HIC), being held in Brisbane in August.

HISA has also announced the names of the new office holders for its state branches.

The retiring board members are Phil Robinson, Leigh Donoghue, Karen Gibson and Carl Kuschel, but all are eligible to stand for election again to the 2015-2017 board.

Elections will be held at the HISA annual general meeting at HIC on Tuesday, August 4, with the board nominees’ statements distributed on July 7.

The make-up of the new branch committees is available at the HISA website.
