HINZ to host Innovation seminar

In the next instalment of their seminar series, Health Informatics New Zealand (HINZ) will present 'Innovation: Putting Evidence to Work' in Auckland on June 24.

Keynote speaker, Sir Muir Gray, will address attendees on the possibility of revolutionising healthcare in order to make it more sustainable. Through an interactive session, Sir Muir will explore the two themes of the 'Death of Envelopes' and 'Starbucks Health', over-viewing changes in thinking that he is initiating in the National Health Scheme (NHS).

In addition to speakers, an educational workshop will take place in order to discuss evidence-based practice and the Predict eDecision Support Tool.

The seminar will also celebrate the opening of Ko Awatea, the Centre for Health Service Innovation and Improvement, envisioned to become the strategic hub for the County's Manukau health system.

Registration for the event can be completed online.
