HISA launches online portal for members

The Health Informatics Society of Australia has revamped its website, offering members added networking opportunities through a new online portal.

The portal provides members with their own page and the ability to directly link into forums and special interest groups, as well as free entry registration to to many HISA events.

Other functions include the ability to automatically add HISA events to their personal calendar, and to share HISA events with friends.

Forms, documents, event presentations, a library of video downloads, white papers and other health informatics resources will be collected on the website and accessible to all members at any time.

HISA CEO Louise Schaper said the organisation will progressively enhance the website and member access area.
