HL7 analyst test added to forum

HL7 Australia is planning to hold an HL7 international analyst certification test following its conformance and certification forum in Brisbane next month.

The HL7 international analyst certification is an internationally valid qualification which certifies HL7 professionals in the areas of CDA, HL7 V2.x and the V3 Reference Information Model (RIM). Certified analysts are entered onto a global register.

The test will be held on April 19, one day after the forum on conformance, compliance and certification (CCA) for HL7 CDA documents and HL7 V2.x messages.

The forum is being hosted by the Australian eHealth Research Centre (AEHRC) and will feature presenters such as Andy Bond from the National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA), Vince McCauley from the Medical Software Industry Association and Grahame Grieve of Health Intersections.

Organisers said if there is enough interest, HL7 Australia will provide half-day analyst certification exam preparation sessions.

Interested parties can register at the HL7 Australia website.
