HCN training sessions for NSW

Health Communication Network (HCN) is holding a series of training sessions for users of Medical Director 3, PracSoft and Blue Chip in Sydney next month.

The training sessions – PracSoft on June 13, MD3 on June 14 and Blue Chip on June 15 – will be held at HCN's headquarters in St Leonards.

Topics in the PracSoft session include overview of appointment book, making patient appointments, overview of the waiting room, adding and editing patient details and integrated EFTPOS.

MD3 will cover using clinical tools to provide data for SIPs and care plans, understanding coding in Medical Director, database cleansing and MDStats.

The Blue Chip training session is aimed at receptionists, practice managers and practitioners who are new to Blue Chip or are self-taught and would like to formalise and reinforce skills.

Topics include opening and searching patient files, making and editing appointments for new and existing patients, and managing referrals for new and existing practitioners in Blue Chip.
