Hossack and Bowden lead MSIA into new year
Extensia CEO Emma Hossack has been re-elected president of the Medical Software Industry Association (MSIA), backed by HealthLink's Tom Bowden as vice president and a new face on the board.
Best Practice's Lorraine Pyefinch has been elected to the board, joining previous directors coreplus's Yianni Serpanos, MIMS' Dinah Graham and HealthSoft's Margie Peat. Monica Schlesinger of eSpace has moved up to secretary, while Equipoise International's Nat Wong retains his role as treasurer.
The new board was elected at the MSIA's AGM earlier this month, held in association with its annual summit. The summit featured a panel discussion on whether there was a need for accreditation for medical software vendors to provide a benchmark for clients.
