Aynsley and Veil step up for Professions Australia

The former president of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) Brenda Aynsley and former Australasian College of Health Informatics (ACHI) president Klaus Veil have been elected president and vice president respectively of the Australian Council of Professions, known as Professions Australia.

The organisation aims to advance Australian professionals and professionalism and is a unifying alliance of organisations representing professional groups.

ACHI, the ACS and the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) are all members of PA, which represents 20 different professional societies in total.
