MedicalDirector appoints Petra Gross to head up product

Clinical and practice management software vendor MedicalDirector has appointed Petra Gross as its new chief product manager, charged with leading the development of MD's product suite including Helix, Clinical, Pracsoft and Bluechip.

Ms Gross was previously chief product officer at CarsGuide.com.au and has over 18 years' experience in product management, including 15 years in Silicon Valley, where she spent seven years at eBay.

Ms Gross said Silicon Valley was “the perfect environment” to acquire the agile methodologies in technology product development. “I intend to use my experience to drive scalable improvements to MedicalDirector’s software suit,” she said.

“My focus is to continue to ensure that the customer is at the centre of every software feature and all design decisions.”

MD has also appointed a new HR manager in Anna Wenngren.
