McMahon to return to ADHA temporarily as interim CEO

Former Australian Digital Health Agency chief operating officer Bettina McMahon will fill in as interim CEO while the agency undertakes a search for a replacement for outgoing CEO Tim Kelsey.
The agency announced in a statement before Christmas that Ms McMahon does not intend to apply for the CEO role permanently.
Ms McMahon resigned in November after 10 years with the agency and its predecessor, NEHTA.
Mr Kelsey followed suit in December after three and a half years to take up a role with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He will finish up at the end of this week.
The agency said a formal recruitment process will begin this month.
