EMPHN appoints Janine Wilson as CEO

Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) has appointed former Telstra Health staffer Janine Wilson as CEO, taking over from Robin Whyte.
Ms Wilson was head of national registries at Telstra Health, managing the National Cancer Screening Register, and previously spent 11 years at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
EMPHN chair Stephen Duckett said her significant experience in implementing strategy and driving innovation will be crucial in guiding EMPHN’s business over the next five years.
The PHN has re-positioned itself to focus on transformational strategies under its 2020-2025 strategic plan, Dr Duckett said. This includes its axe the fax campaign.
Ms Wilson will take up the position in June.
