NT Department of Health gets new CEO

Emergency physician and clinical toxicologist Frank Daly has been named as the new CEO of the Northern Territory Department of Health, taking over from Catherine Stoddart, who resigned late last year after four years in the role.
Dr Daly worked at Royal Perth Hospital for 10 years as an emergency physician and clinical toxicologist, director of emergency medicine and director of clinical reform, as well as in managerial roles.
Most recently he has acted as Oceania medical director and associate partner at consulting firm EY. He also led the $1.2 billion Perth Children’s Hospital project.
He was previously chief executive of the Child and Adolescent Health Service in WA, where he was in charge of specialist care for Aboriginal children and families from remote areas of Western Australia.
Dr Daly will formally take up the position on June 7.
