Cameron Burt to head up Rauland Australia and New Zealand

Healthcare communications and nurse call platform vendor Rauland Australia and New Zealand has appointed former Cerner APAC head Cameron Burt as its new CEO.

Rauland executive director Steve Gomes said Mr Burt has in-depth experience working with health departments and healthcare organisations on large-scale and complex programs, both in Australia and overseas.

“Cameron is a highly motivated and results-orientated executive with a successful track record in strategic and operational leadership,” Mr Gomes said. “Cameron’s appointment will help Rauland further solidify our position as one of the leading providers of innovative technology solutions in the healthcare industry.”

Mr Burt spent 23 years with Cerner in a variety of roles, most recently as managing director for the Asia Pacific region.

Rauland has landed some large new contracts recently, including for its Responder Nurse Call and Master Clock systems for the new $673.3 million Tweed Valley Hospital, currently under construction in northern NSW, and for Nurse Call, Master Clock and IPTV systems for the new Victorian Heart Hospital in Melbourne.
