HiNZ boss steps down after eight years

Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) CEO Kim Mundell has stood down after eight years in the role to focus on her consulting business.

HiNZ has appointed sales and marketing general manager Kylie Williams to act as CEO from June 1 while a replacement for Ms Mundell is found.

Ms Williams has previously worked in marketing roles with Microsoft, World Vision and the BBC.

Ms Mundell has a long background in media, marketing and advertising, and has been a driving force in developing the annual HiNZ conference into one of the biggest health IT events in the southern hemisphere.

HiNZ board chair Karen Blake said Ms Mundell’s vision had transformed HiNZ from a small volunteer association into an influential professional association that delivers world-class media and events.
