Kean-Seng Lim joins Pen CS as chief medical advisor

Prominent Western Sydney GP Kean-Seng Lim has joined population health solutions vendor Pen CS in the role of chief medical advisor.
Dr Lim will provide clinical governance and oversight of Pen CS, which markets software applications used for population health such as CAT Plus, a suite of health informatics technology solutions including PAT, CAT and Topbar clinical decision support.
Dr Lim will also chair both the Pen CS clinical advisory committee and the Pen CS data governance committee, as well as providing guidance to co-design the future product roadmap.
He is an owner and director of Mt Druitt Medical Centre, where he is a working GP, a co-founder and clinical lead for the fast emerging shared care, real-time remote monitoring and population health management platform CareMonitor, and a board member of the NSW division of the AMA.
Pen CS CEO Edweana Wenkart said Dr Lim had a unique view of primary care at a population, provider and patient level.
“Pen CS believes that healthcare providers are at the heart of the primary care healthcare system and so alignment with GPs, practice teams and allied health is critical to providing technology solutions that support their needs,” Ms Wenkart said.
