DoH becomes DoHAC

Australia’s federal Department of Health has had its name officially changed to the Department of Health and Aged Care to reflect the new government’s priorities for the department.

The change reflects the importance of aged care to the community, and the department’s focus on aged care reform, a DoHAC spokesperson said.

There will be no change to email addresses or the department’s website address.
