Medtech set to release v20.12 with enhanced ManageMyHealth
NZ market leader Medtech is set to release version 20.12 of its Medtech32 practice management system, featuring new functionality for nurse practitioners, improvements to the ManageMyHealth portal and a new online chat function for customer support.
Nurse practitioners have been added to the provider type in the staff and service set-up section, which will allow nurse practitioners to claim for services as per their contract class with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
It will also allow nurse practitioners to submit special authority forms when prescribing certain medications.
The update also includes enhancements to Medtech32's in-built SMS functionality, including the ability to send bulk SMSs and to automatically update appointment reminder SMSs when mobile phone numbers are changed.
The customer support online chat function is now available as a tab on the menu, linking users directly to the Medtech website and its online chat function.
For ManageMyHealth, users now have the ability to automatically forward messages to another provider if they are going to be away on for a set period of time, but they can also manually forward a message to another provider if required. Messages that are forwarded will now also leave an audit trail.
Requests for multiple prescriptions can now be entered and received as one request rather than one request per medication, and there is also the ability to recall patients via ManageMyHealth email. Once the patient responds, the response is written into the recall contact list in Medtech32.
A new screening feature allows patients to enter chosen screening information through their ManageMyHealth portal, which then populates into Medtech32 and is highlighted as ‘automatically filed’ in screening.
Medtech32 version 20.12 will be available for download on Monday, March 30.
